      NetBSD amd64 8.0

      Description

It looks like the various "backup" sub-commands of ods-enforcer now have a "--repository" option, and the documentation appears to indicate that it's a mandatory argument.

Experimentation reveals that this is not the case, so the documentation is therefore probably wrong (the man page is missing [] enclosure of the "--repository <repository>" part.)

Meanwhile, I notice that the heading of the output of "ods-enforcer backup list" goes to stderr while the actual output goes to stdout, which seems inconsistent at best.

Lastly, the on-the-web documentation for OpenDNSSEC 2.0 does not mention the interactions between the "backup" operations that the operator might perform, and the operations OpenDNSSEC will allow itself to make. It seems to me to be important to clearly document the operator interactions with OpenDNSSEC and when those would be required.

Overall, one might say that the 2.0 / 2.1 on-the-web documentation is still way behind the 1.4 documentation, and the on-the-web promise that it will be fleshed out in "the near future" remains unfulfilled. This might give a false impression wrt. which version you would prefer that a new operator should pick.
